Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of lrglegal.com (the "Site"), which is operated by Leila R. Golchehreh, Attorney at Law. By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Statement and Legal Notices, which are part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information only
The Site provides general information about my mediation and fractional general counsel practice. Nothing on the Site is legal advice, and nothing on it should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a lawyer admitted in your jurisdiction about your specific circumstances.
2. No attorney-client or mediator relationship
Using the Site, or contacting me through it or by any other channel, does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not engage me as a mediator. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a signed engagement letter, and a mediation only by a signed mediation agreement, in each case after a conflicts check. Until then, do not send confidential information. Information you send before an engagement may not be privileged or confidential, and I may represent or mediate for parties adverse to you.
3. Attorney advertising
The Site may constitute attorney advertising under the rules of some jurisdictions. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. I am admitted to practice in California, and the Site does not solicit clients in any jurisdiction where doing so would not comply with applicable rules of professional conduct.
4. Permitted use
You may view, download and print pages of the Site for your own non-commercial reference. You may not copy, republish, frame, scrape, reverse engineer or otherwise exploit the Site or its content, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Automated access other than by ordinary search engine indexing is not permitted.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, design, photographs and marks, are owned by Leila R. Golchehreh or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. The names and marks of other organizations referenced on the Site belong to their owners.
6. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites, including Silicon Valley Trust, a separate advisory and coaching practice operated by Lexplique LLC which does not provide legal services. I am not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party website, and a link is not an endorsement.
7. No warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error free or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, business or profits, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms limits liability which cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them limits any duty I owe to a client under an engagement letter or the rules of professional conduct.
9. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Site shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. This clause applies to use of the Site only; disputes under an engagement letter or mediation agreement are governed by that agreement.
10. Changes
I may revise these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after a revision is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
