1. No attorney-client relationship

Visiting lrglegal.com, reading its content, or contacting Leila R. Golchehreh by email, telephone or any other channel does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a written engagement letter signed by both of us, after a conflicts check has been completed. Until then, I owe you no duty of confidentiality or loyalty, and I may represent parties whose interests are adverse to yours.

2. Not legal advice

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. It may not reflect the most current legal developments and may not apply to your circumstances. You should consult a lawyer admitted in your jurisdiction before acting on anything you read here.

3. Mediation is a neutral service

As a mediator I am a neutral. I do not represent, advocate for or give legal advice to any party to a mediation, and no attorney-client relationship is formed with any participant. Parties are encouraged to obtain independent legal advice before, during and after a mediation. I will not mediate a dispute involving a current or former client, and I will not represent a party to a dispute I have mediated. Mediation communications are confidential under the parties' mediation agreement and, in California, under Evidence Code sections 1115 to 1128.

4. Admissions and jurisdiction

Leila R. Golchehreh is admitted to practice law in California. She is not admitted in any other jurisdiction and does not hold herself out as such. Where a matter requires admission elsewhere, she works with local counsel. This website is not intended to solicit clients in any jurisdiction where such solicitation would not comply with applicable rules of professional conduct, and no representation is undertaken on the basis of information submitted through this website until a conflicts check has been completed and an engagement letter signed.

5. Relationship to Silicon Valley Trust and Lexplique LLC

Leila R. Golchehreh separately advises founders, executives and boards on strategy and growth through Silicon Valley Trust. Silicon Valley Trust is a domain name used by Lexplique LLC, which operates that advisory and coaching practice. Lexplique LLC does not practice law and does not provide legal services. Legal and mediation services described on this website are provided by Leila R. Golchehreh in her own name, under a separate written engagement, and not by Lexplique LLC.

6. Confidential information

Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information by email or any other unencrypted channel until an engagement letter or mediation agreement has been signed. For a possible mediation, share only the names of the parties in your first message so that a conflicts check can be run.

7. Third-party content

References to other organizations, conferences and publications are for identification only and do not imply endorsement by or of them. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; their content and practices are their own.
